Winter Conference XIV

Thanks to the Purdue team for hosting such a great event. They put on a great show!!

Cris Kodiak steps down from Chairman after an Epic 5 years

From Cris

My time as Chairman of the MCWSA has been unbelievably satisfying and fulfilling.

In my time on the MCWSA Board:
We won All-Star Championships for the first time in history
We saw Midwest skiers achieve All-American status for the first time in history
We had Midwest teams place as high as 4th at Division 1 Nationals
We grew in our number of teams and number of competitors
We had the most tournaments in one season in our history
We adopted the color pink and have rocked it out.

Under the direction of Jeff Surdej the Midwest boomed to its great size, but it was through the guidance of Cris Kodiak that Team Midwest discovered its personality. Thank you each for being an inspiration to all of us in collegiate waterskiing. Congrats to the newly elected Regional board as they ring in a new era for Team Midwest.

- Adam Koehler

You have been such an essential part of Team Midwest, it's hard to imagine what the region will be like without you. I never feel comfortable speaking for others, but I can say with 100 percent certainly that you will be missed tremendously by everyone. You have built bridges with your reign and impacted so many aspects of the region in positive ways.
