Time to dust off your skis! Spring is here!
How to get your ski legs back

Check out this article as well as other great articles and videos on their blog.
It's That Time of the Year
All Stars

Reminder that the All Star Teams are top 10 skiers in each event for both womens and mens divisions, however in order to send a full team, skiers who are not in the top 10 may be extended an invite to ski as unfortunately not everyone is always able to make it. Keep checking your emails for notices from Christy Kingsmill or Jon Bice.
- All Stars will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2011 at Beaver Lake in Lure, North Carolina.
- Chief officials will be John Harris chief judge, Chris Eller chief driver, Dave Clark chief scorer, and Harley Wallace chief safety. More details here.
Whether you are skiing or not, come out and support Team Midwest! Looking forward to regaining the title!

Skiammy History

Currently we do not have a history of who has won Skiammys. One of the things Cris Kodiak had always wanted to do is collect this. Conference secretaries Jamie Zeal and Jordan Dutro are working on this together along with Regional Secretary Shelly Tranchita. We are asking at your teams meeting to brainstorm on your teams past winners and email your alumni. If you are in the Great Lakes Conference, please send your findings to Jamie Zeal @

This will be a great running history for our Region. Please help us out!
NEW Online Team Registration for all NCWSA Tournaments
A new web-based online system has been implemented, which supports both Team Roster Management and Team Entry and Rotation Planning. All NCWSA Teams should now use these tools to manage their respective Rosters of team skiers, and to prepare their Team Entry and Rotation plan for each tournament which they are entering.
Access to this system is provided through the USA Water Ski Member's Only area. Team Captains or Tournament Registrars should access these features by first signing onto the Member's Only area. That is accomplished through clicking the Member/Club Login link, which is located in the upper right corner of the USA Water Ski main web page. Once signed in, then Captains or Registrars should click on the Collegiate Registrationmenu item, located in the left navigation panel on the Member's Only main page.
Here is a link that will take you directly to that Member's Only area sign-in page: click here
After selecting either the Team Captain Tools or Registrar Tools item from the Collegiate Registration sub-menu, then further information on the features and usage of this system is available through the Tips/Help button, which you will find located on any of those subsequent detail pages.
Please note that paper documents, or Excel spreadsheets, or other forms of Team Entry and Rotation Plans should no longer be used to communicate such information to NCWSA tournament Registrars - instead, this new online system should be used by all teams for entry to all NCWSA tournaments, beginning immediately. Registrars will then collect this information in their Registration Download spreadsheet, which has been newly revised for 2011 to incorporate these details now being supplied online by the team Captains.
