LA NIGHT JAM 2011
For those that have never heard of LA Night Jam, it's one of the most watched/attended water ski events in America. With over 6,000 people in attendance and hundreds more watching via the global web cast, LA Night Jam is not one to miss. The event is on June 18, 2011 at TriLakes - home of Bennett's Water Ski and Wakeboard School in Zachary, Louisiana. For more information, check out www.lanightjam.com.
This year we are doing something a little different by doing a Pro Am slalom tournament during the day. The slalom skiers will be teamed with the pro jumpers. There will be 12 teams total with 4 slalom skiers per team. The slalom tournament will be run like a two round class C tournament. The teams will be competing for team ranking. The highest ranked team will pair with the highest ranked jump finalist. You pick your own teams so I thought it would be kind of cool to have at least one team representing each region. It would be great if each region could sponsor a team to help cover their entry fees, if possible.

Scoring:
Individuals will be scored + or - their AWSA ranking score taken one week prior to the event. Best round out of two counts. Each individual score will be added up and the team with the highest combined score wins! The highest ranked team will then be paired with the highest seeded Jumper going into the finals. When the Pro goes to the podium during the awards, the Am team will go with him/her.

. We will be happy to match you with other skiers. Entry fee is $80 per skier. With that you will get 2 rounds class C slalom, One 1/2 price VIP ticket, a competitor t-shirt, and an athlete's gift package including free general admission entry to LA Night Jam IV Finals.
The VIP ticket ($50/ticket; $25/ticket for athletes) includes includes Parking, food, Beverages, soft drinks, athlete enclosure access, after party, access, seating, shade, and private porto-johns.
Tournament Info:
- Practice- Practice will be available on Friday afternoon from 12:30 till dark. Practice will cost $20 per practice set (4 passes). Limited to one practice set per skier.
- Prepaid online upon registration.
- Boat: This is a MasterCraft Sponsored event. The speed control being used is Zero Off.
- The amateur slalom tournament will begin at 8am on Saturday June 18th, 2011. Running orders will be posted Friday evening at the proshop and on the Lake 2 dock.
- This is a Class C sanctioned tournament and will count toward your AWSA average and national ranking
