MSU Ripfest - 2008. Camping - We are camping at a different site then last year. This is less than 1/2 a mile away from the lake and is an actual camp site, so much better than last year. The adress is 8266 Baldwin, Gaines, MI. I want to stress to all team captains to talk to their teams before coming that the guys who are own this land are completely unconnected with waterskiing, they are just letting us camp their so that our tournament can be successful. Therefore please talk to your teams and make sure no one does anything dumb. It has been very dry up here in michigan so we are asking that if you smoke at night do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground, they do not want to start a forest fire. Registration – Send all Team Registration to Dan Pabst by midnight Wednesday night.

. There will be a captains meeting to check running orders on site Friday night as well. Schedule – Saturday 7:30 am with women's A slalom, Men's A slalom, Women's B slalom, Men's B slalom, Women's A trick, Men's A trick, Women's B trick, Men's B Trick. Sunday will start at 7:30 am, Women's A jump, Men's A jump, Women's B Jump, Men's B Jump. Fees - Entry fee is $30 per person, and $25 per team. Make checks payable to MSU Waterski Club. Directions - To get from the camp site to the lake all you do is go straight out of the driveway and go down the dirt road right in front of you which is jewel and then tivoli gardens will be on your left hand side. Theme - The theme for saturday night is create your own superhero. So come up with a superhero, what superpower you have and create a costume. There will be a dj saturday night, and probably after registration is done friday as well. Extra - The University of Michigan Wakeboard Team is holding a wakeboard tournament on sunday on silver lake about 10 miles from tivoli. If any wakeboarders from your team want to go compete in that sunday go to www.umwakeboard.com. They are offering a 50% discount on the entry fee to any wakeboarders who compete in ripfest.
